Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience of migrating websites from version 1.0 to 1.1 of XHTML? I have read through the W3C documents (http://www.w3.org/TR/2001/REC-xhtml11-20010531/) and I have to say, the ideas on modularization came across as being a bit daunting I understand that the DTD has to conform to 'strict' before it can be validated but I was wondering what the other major chages are in regards to the actual coding? Hope that makes sense (I think I've confused myself with that )Cheers for any responses in advance m |

With XHTML 1.1 you can add in you required modules - e.g. the "target" attribute can be added to allow popup windows to be created.
Have a read of the XHTML posts on this web standards group mailing list - http://www.mail-archive.com/wsg%40w...dardsgroup.org/ for some more info. |
