Question A newbie in ASP...

Hi people!

First of all i want to tell you that I2m starting to learn ASP since yesterday. I was programming in PHP since 2 years but now I "have to" (because of my work) learn ASP and begin to code in that. So, I need some good links for me except devarticles.com (THAT'S THE BEST ONE!). Can you give me some addresses?

Another question of me => Is there a manual or something like PHP manual? How can I see using of functions or etc. of ASP?

Thanks a lot,
Have a nice day

Hi.
I personally like old ASP better than the new ASP.NET but I guess that's because I learned it first!
I would recommend "ASP for Dummies."
Yes, I know there's many who hate "Dummies" (including me) but this book breaks that mold and is actually quite good.
Also recommended, "Essential ASP" and "ASP Solutions".

mudkicker - if you have the choice (tho it sounds like you may not), I would learn C# or VB.NET instead. They offer a more robost and "proper" approach to programming, as opposed to ASP's scripting.

Microsoft have a wealth of information over at http://www.asp.net/, including tutorials and IDE's.

I don't need to go deeper in this. I mean only ASP is enough for me because I know PHP very well but in my workplace ASP programmers is not enough to finish the projects easily.

I looked that site asp.net but are there more links?

and...

I still ask you that ASP has a manual like PHP or some documentation to see all the function etc. with their using rules?

Thanks again,
Have a nice day.

Are you after something specific? 90% of tasks can be done with the "response" and "request" objects
