Access the .asp session variables from .php code?

I have a large web based application written in .asp (Not .net)

I need to add separate web code pages in the same domain using .php (will not mix .asp and .php in the same page)

I would like my .php code to find and use the .asp session variables.

I understand I may have to write my own little gizome to get them I just need to find out where .asp stores them.

Im going to cross post this in .php forum just in case a .php guru knows the answer.

Thank you

P.S. I am not rewriting .asp code. Its huge application.
