ASP is a VB-based, server-side scripting language for the Microsoft platform. It's similar to most other server-side languages in that it can connect to databases. Did you have a problem in particular?

The short answer, ASP...
The long answer, Google...

http://www.aspfree.com is a great place to start for ASP

Similarly, you could use a free server side language such as Perl, PHP, or even JSP/Java Servlets... depends on what your server supports.
