ASP.Net vs PHP speed test
Hi,
I developing a new project and need to prove to my manager ASP.Net is faster than PHP, else i'll be forced to use that. Any ideas on what would be a good test to use? The project is a database frontend using MS SQL Server and will be fairly query heavy. Thanks in advance |

PHP speed vs ASP.NET speed is pretty much proven. Everyone accepts that. Its just which is better for which.
there were some independent test done on Petshop (not the MS ver but by Java group) which proved that .NEt was faster than java...with all the new java features and ++++ so try to design a petshop program that has the same interface as .NeT's and with similar level of maintanability and check if u can make it faster. (I didn't mean to start a flame war)
