AutoRUN Floopy to run before Windows is Loaded
I want to make a floopy that will be inserted to floppy drive before a win95/98 machine is started.The floppy shd activate an another programme from floppy that shd perform some task on a predefined file in the system(Just some File manipulation) before the windows load.so programme shd run in DOS.
Any Idea ,How it can be done.I don't know if VB will work in this.

Autoexec.bat
Autoexec.bat is a potential solution for this.
Although with a floppy you would most likely need a bootable floppy. If you explained why it needs to be floppy it might be easier to help. MERLiiN www.nastynerds.com

Go to add/remove programs in controlpanel, there is a startupdisk tab.
Once the floppy has been made, edit a:\autoexec.bat and make it do what you want.
