Warning: Complete Newbie Here!!!
Hi everybody.
I'm am a complete Newbie!! And I need some advice about what books to purchase - and where better to get advice than in these fantastic forums! :- ) I really want to start getting in ASP & PHP to enhance my Flash & HTML sites. I learn well from books, and was wondering if anybody can tell me of the best books from a guy who has never typed one character of ASP or PHP in his life! Books that go from COMPLETE novice to Intermediate/Advanced for both ASP & PHP. Your opinions are all much appreciated Cheers Deadhands

Welcome to the forums!
Have you done any programming before? If so, you might want to check out the newer .NET languages, such as C# and VB.NET as they are more structured than ASP. Even if you haven't, you might still wanna check them out. Books: Anything by Wrox (if you can still get them). I also have a MS Press book on learning OOP (for .NET [using C# and VB.NET]), which I wouldn't recommend. BTW: Please have a read over the forum posting rules. We do not allow cross posting.
