chat prgram
hi
just wondering if anyone can help me . i was wondering whether anyone has articles or code that will help me produce a MSN like chat program in ASP that i can incoporate in my website. any help would be great thanx iffy

Well, you can't do IM like chat apps on the web due to it's nature, but you can do traditional IRC style apps. I've messed around with one called ASPChatWorx (google it) - does the job.

bear in mind, however, that all ASP chats are just programs that use excessive refreshing. I can't imagine any other way of doing it considering the nature of ASP.....
If you want a real chat program like what is on Yahoo or AOL a java solution would be your best bet (I'm sure a google search would turn up some free programs)
