How to Find the Computer Name

Hi,

The problem is this.
I have a web server on a network. The clients of the network all have their 'My Computer' icons changed and replaced with a unique name, which is their Computer Name.

for example,
The computer with Computer Name CORP12345 would have the 'My Computer' icon renamed to CORP12345.

I would like to know how to find out which client machine(Computer Name) accessed my web pages.

The environment is NT4.0 and IIS4.0.

Thanks for any help you can give me,

If you need any more info, let me know.

Irfan.

Hello...

You can access the Computer name with the help of vb not with asp...

for this you have to write the component in VB and access the computer name with API. if you dont know the API then download the Microsoft Registry Access 1.0 from:
http://www.microsoft.com/ntserver/d...ess/default.asp

install it and use it in your asp code.
