How to format the print out in VB
Hi,
I'm trying to simulate the way restaurant bills (check) look like on my printer. A standard bill has the buisness name on the top, then the items with their qty and price on the middle and the total amount on the bottom. I tried to use the printer object in vb, and played with tabs and spaces back and forth to get the items lined up but it's difficult to achieve because the names are not the same length naturally. Can anyone suggest a method to that? Is it possible at all using the standard objects in vb without installing a dedicated control to do that? Thanks, Korin |
