Running ASP 3.0 Scripts on .Net Page

Hello, I am fairly new to programming in ASP.NET. I created a form using .NET, but I have other scripts that need to be on the same page which, when I was programming in 3.0, I used 'Server.Execute ("Some_Script.asp")'. It would run independently of the the code on the page.

Is there a way to run these same scripts on a page with the .aspx extension, or must I reprogram all these older scripts (this could take a while).

Appreciate any help.

You can execute any script you like with Server.Execute() from an ASP 3 or an ASP.NET page.

No I don't think so.

When I recently tried to Server.Execute an .aspx from an .asp the .net-only-code generated errors as it was not asp 3 code.

Thinking about it, when an .asp script runs the executable is asp.dll and when an .aspx script runs the executable is aspnet_isapi.dll. So I suspect Server.Execute running in whichever .dll isn't going to pass control to some other foreign .dll based on the file extention, it's going to continue processing the code based on its own .dll, simply ignoring whatever file extention and expecting that whatever file name you supply contains more code for its own .dll/script language.

W2K IIS 5 here.
