what is meant by server extensions or Frontpage extensions plz tell me in detail thanx 4 Help bye

hey,
I am not 100% sure about server extensions... but front page extensions are features on a server which support the "fancy" tricks which MS front page uses. For example, Front page has code which only front page server extensions will support.... things like mouse over menus, image slide shows, and front page FTP feature. If you write a page in FP and use some of its functions, I think you need to get a server which support these front page extensions.... hope someone else can help with the server extensions question!!
