windows media player file streaming
Hi All,
We are using Windows Media Player 9 Series. we have some problem to show the wmv files(preview) continuously using windows media player(its taking time to show for file to file. i understand that we can acheive continuous streaming using openevent(buffering concept). my question is An entry(wmv file) must be 20 seconds or longer? or A short file less than 20 seconds can also use this openevent for continuous streaming? Can anybody help me regarding this. its better for me to send the answer along with one example if possible. Thanks, Sumanth |

Streaming and WMP
Hi Sum!
I come to bother you, 'cause I've a similar trouble. I've to capture an audio/video sequence and I create at the same time a file, all with Windows Media Encoder. When I try to play the file on another PC on my lan, windows media player play the file but I cannot navigate it: e.g. his duration isn't showed, and so on. Is there a way to trick WMP and make it think the file is closed or having a fixed duration? Thanks |
