writing a "

Hello, its me again

I was wondering how I can write a " (dont know the word )
I've just started with ASP (already know PHP) and I
come up with this problem. I am using javascript and I
need to write --> " .

Right now I'm closing my ASP ( %> ), then im writing a " and
then Im opening ASP again ( <% ), this obviously isn't the
normal way

who can tell me how to write a "

(in php u can write a " by using a slash ( \" ) this way it
wont effect your php string

sample php:
echo "Hi, I am writing a \"! how nice";

Hey! It's becoming an everyday conversation with you!! The thing is simple:

ASP takes "" as \". For example:

<% response.write "hello friend, this is a "" inside asp code" %>

Since they're together, ASP takes it as a char, and not a string delimiter.

I guess that's what you're looking for!

Good Luck Kid!

Anibal.

PS: if you put three together, the first two would make a \" and the third would be a delimiter.
