Nikkei at 8-Month Closing High (Reuters)

Reuters - The Nikkei average rose for a fifth day
to hit an eight-month closing high on Wednesday, buoyed by
gains in Nomura Holdings and other brokers on hopes a recent
improvement in market activity would help boost revenues.
