Unhappy baasic midi programming
Hi, i`ve been told to create a c/c++ program that plays c note in midi sound but i don`t know how the midi system works, neither the libraries i have to use ,etc.

please somebody help me, i really don`t know where to start(inexperienced programmer) too

Beep(x,y) i think is the function to play with the tones on the pc speaker.
x is frequency, y is duration....I THINK
