C++: Borland C++ Builder or MS VC++
Hi everyone,
I would like to ask a very unconcrete question. The thing is this. I was programming and using Borland C++ Builder about 3-4 years ago. Then it happened that I started to work in web development industry. Now, I am planning on coming back onto C++ and application development. I heard many opinions about MS VC++ being better than CPP BUILDER, also that Borland are making non-professional tools for dilettante programmers. And that MS VC++ doesn't cut anything from the developer and gives full control for everyithing that is going on within the application. Also that programs developed and compiled in MS VC++ are starting up and running WAY faster than the ones in CPP BUILDER. I ask fans or haters of one of the products to withhold themselves from posting to this topic. I need objective opinion on this topic from the people that know what they are talking about. Thanks everyone! |

that was very stupid arguments while C++ Builder can do
all VC source code and run it without any problem, but if VC run C++ Builder Source it won't... in C++ Builder you can do all VC++ can do, you can hardcode (without form designer like VC) or C++ Builder style it is make programming become flexible (build better software faster) about speed comparison between VC and CB it is depends on programmer not compiler! |
