C compilers and IDE's

Well, I have compiled for embedded system with a compiler/IDE called sys51 (or system51, I cant remember). The compiler did a good job as I was compiling for a 8051 architecture, which it is designed for. But I can't speak very kindly of the editor in the IDE. It's realy a pain working with. The features for downloading the program to chip/board is pretty good though.

Another realy annoying thing is that sys51 does not support long file- and path names very well.

Regards

well I never had it at home, as my school provided us with the necessary software. But the official site is here http://www.ksc-softsys.com/

I am sorry I can't find it anywhere else.
