Question calculation question

How do i calculate the difference between two variables?


Like

var3 = var 2 - var1

iam calculating 2 different times and finding out the difference between them.

There's a function called datediff() that you can use, it will give you the time difference of the two dates for you.

Datediff is a new one to me, wow.

I could have used this a while back... Could you post some links on here that I could read about this?

I don't remember seeing this on the Macromedia Cold Fusion Support page.

If you have a copy of CF Studio, there's help section with a list of all the CF functions/tags woth description and examples. That's where I picked up a lot of things. Here's a link from Macromedia for CF documentation http://www.macromedia.com/support/c...umentation.html

Also the Macromedia CF forums have a wealth of information if you do a search:
