Insert into access

I'm trying to insert into a access database and I keep getting this error and I'm use to using oracle.

Error Executing Database Query.[Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][ODBC Socket][Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntax error in INSERT INTO statement. The specific sequence of files included or processed is: C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\CFIDE\Help_Desk\requestacces s3.cfm, line: 26

Here is my insert
<cfset DATE = #DateFormat(now(), 'mm/dd/yyyy')#>

Insert into user_acl_hold
( username, first_name, last_name, email, password, status, phone, maidenname, fourss, comments, date)
Values ( <cfqueryparam value="#form.username#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" maxlength="25">,
<cfqueryparam value="#form.first_name#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" maxlength="25">,
<cfqueryparam value="#form.last_name#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" maxlength="50">,
<cfqueryparam value="#form.email#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" maxlength="35">,
<cfqueryparam value="#form.password#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" maxlength="7">,
'New',
<cfqueryparam value="#form.phone#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" maxlength="15">,
<cfqueryparam value="#form.maidenname#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" maxlength="30">,
<cfqueryparam value="#form.fourss#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" maxlength="4">,
<cfqueryparam value="#form.comments#" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR">,
#DATE#)

I tried replacing #date# with sysdate.

Any clues?

Date is a CF reserved word

CF has a bunch of reserved words that should not be used and "date" is one of them.
