Question Passing a Variable into an IFRAME?!?

Any Ideas how to pass a variable into an IFRAME? I've tried the ...cfm?ItemID=#URL.ItemID# method, but as you can imagine, this just confuses things since the IFRAME SRC and the outer Page have Different URLS...Please help

I would use javascript to accomplish this.

Can you give an example of exactly what you are trying to do and I'll put together something for you.

Cheers,
Peter

my code for passing variable.

From the Display page :

<cfset Number = #Number#> --Variable to pass to iframe---

<iframe src="iframe.cfm?Number=#Number#" height = "200" width = "80%">

From the iframe.cfm page:

<cfoutput>#url.Number#</cfoutput>

When the display page loads, I need for it to pass the number variable to the iframe page and display the iframe. The iframe page displays without a problem within the display page but the number variable is not passed to the iframe page.

Any help would be much appreciated.
