Weird issue with CFM and browser

Hey guys,

I installed CF on my main PC today. After installation I checked if the IIS is working and it was. Then when I tried to open CFM page in brower (all FF, IE and Safari) it comes us with save open or cancel alert. As if this is some other file.

Can someone please tell me why is this happening? i tried every thing but no luck...

Thanks,
A~

Try this option

right-click on my computer then select manage. In the right panel double-click on servies and services and applications then look down the list for CFMX (or your version) server.

Right-click on it and select "Restart".

If that doesn't work you have only two other options. Reboot, or uninstall, reboot then reinstall letting cf install with all defaults.

This has happened to me more than a dozen times since 1994 when I first started with CF and it's a pain but solvable.
