Any ideas what is the differences between GETUTCDATE and GETDATE? And when to apply GETUTCDATE and when to apply GETDATE? thanks in advance, George |

getdate will return the date with your regional time. getutcdate will return the date and GMT time.
If you're in GMT time zone they are the same. It's your choice depending on whether the time is relevant to your application and whether you need a standard time or local time over varied timezones |
