Help with linking vb6 and access 2003.

Hi, I am an A2 computing student, I don't know if you've heard but for my coursework we have to create a programme using vb6 that should be linked to a database. What I have done is to create a programme which simulates a clocking in machine where the user enters there name and it clocks their name, the time and the date in which they have clocked it, I have managed to do this fine but I have no idea how to save this data into a database, can anyone help me please?

thanks Jim
