is it crucial to close visual data objects(DAO) when closing a forum besides non visual data objects????
I am asking this because I had a problem when i tried to refresh a visual data object with a new query... only after i closed the associated grid and closed the recordset of the Data i was able to refresh it.... so does it stay in memory if I dont close it???? thanks ![]() |

I don't think I properly understand your question... but I think generally you should close any database connection when you've finished your query... otherwise, yes it stays in memory (if you're constantly making new connections).
