Importing Database from server to local

Hi everyone,
This is my second day using MySQL and I would like to know if it is possible to bring a database
from a server to my computer. I have MySQL installed and I would like to copy a MySQL database
from a server. I can connect to it using MySQL Control Center, but I do not know how to bring it to
my computer so that I can use the localhost for development. In other words what is the best
way to copy a database from one computer to another.

I'm not familiar with MySQL, but I'd try mysqldump and mysqlimport...
