Hi,
Could anyone tell me how to use persistent database connection in PHP, using Postgres database. Is any sample? Please help Regards Devendra |

What I want: 1) Open database connection. 2) Fatch some rows. 3) If user clicks next button, Fetch next set of rows from previously opended record set(persisted) Is it possible in PHP-PostgreSQL ? Regards Devendra |

Yes, it should be possible. It's a pretty basic operation. You just need to familiarize yourself with PHP's postgres functions and postgres statement syntax. I recommend doing some research on these topics and coming back to the forums with particular problems or questions about implementation. You probably won't have much luck asking more general questions down this path; in other words, until it's clear that you've done some digging around yourself, probably not many experienced developers are going to be willing to help you out.
