Hi Everyone,
We use Oracle 8.1.7.0.0 and Report Builder 6.0.8.11.3 & have recently shifted our Operating System to " Microsoft Windows XP professional version 2002 service pack 1 " , earlier we were using " Microsoft Windows 98 ". When we print the reports (character mode) output, it leaves a space after every line on XP machines whereas it wasn't doing that on Windows 98, because of which a report which was getting printed on a single A4 size paper now takes two such papers, we are printing the report's output on the " Kyocera Mita FS-3800KPDL3 KX " printer. Kindly provide a solution. Thanking You in advance. |

I suggest you to print oracle report using an utility named RepExpert.
RepExpert is developed for Oracle Report ONLY, it can print report generated by report 6i,9i,10g . Why people need this tool? 1, RepExpert can print report that contains many pages. One year ago, some customers complained that Microsoft IE can not open huge html file generated by oracle report, so we made this tool to solve their problem. 2,RepExpert can print any specified page, this feature is useful for invoice printing. 3,RepExpert can select paper size, margins and printer automatically, this feature is very useful for end user who always print report. If you print report through IE, you will have to finish these setting manually. 4,RepExpert can output report to printer directly just like Orarrp, it is more easy to use! 5,RepExpert support secure printing, well, you may need to do some coding.
