Autorun CD ROM sending data from local to server

I'm creating an autorun CD-ROM which executes a Flash app and asks users to enter registration info that would then be passed to a database on a web server using ASP, but the only problem is that I don't think it's possible to do this according to the following tutorial

which says that the input form (and associated .fla file) needs to be on the same web server as the database.

Does anyone know if this will work? Or perhaps are there other solutions?
