Counting up counter, where a page refresh would not effect the value.

Hi all,

I am in need of some advice or better still examples of being able to start from a 0 value and incrementing that value by 1 and so on.

So the user is on a page and sees this value increasing, advancing on to another page would not effect the value, or grab the value somehow and continue incrementing the value.

I am in a complete puzzle with this, so plase help me out guys if ya can

Cheers
