Dynamic Text in Symbols
I have a movie symbol with text in it. I need this text to be dynamic so that I can feed it in when the flash header is loaded. The header is supposed to display the page title.
So the movie is called: "flash_movie.swa?title=whatever" It works fine when the text is not a symbol, but as soon as its a symbol, it no longer works. The symbol is movie type and contains only dynamic text. Any suggestions? A. |

See what happens if you make the dynamic field's variable name global using /:varname. If that doesn't work, you have a problem due to the text not being embedded. Embed the text.

It worked. You've made me happy.
Thanks, A. |
