flash movie

i need to create an intro page to my local marching band site...

all i need is moving text, moving pictures (like sliding across the screen) and music in the background.... any links or tutorials that might help me accomplish this 30 second movie?

You could use DHTML to do this - if you don't wanna learn flash. DHTML isn't as cool or flexible as flash, but simple for things such as what you want to do, it's a great time saver.

i want to use flash b/c i want some text effects and music and stuff

Read the Helpme files of flash and do some of the toutorials.

You allready have what you need. But, if you cannot make it with that, you better hire somebody like us.

see money is a problem so i don't want to hire, i guess i will have to use their tutorials, no problem, thanx guys

Sorry I didn’t think of it before, but their is a really easy to use software for text effects called swish I think it will work well for you. You can buy if for some where between 30 - 50 buck. well worth is. you can export pieces and put it all together in WYSIWYG software like Dreamweaver.
