Hey there FlashBB is a new team of Flash and PHP developers wanting to undertake the challenge of building the best Bulletin Board yet!

FlashBB is built using the latest version of Macromedia Flash (Flash 8), PHP and MYSQL, combined to make a fast and reliable environment.

FlashBB features all the common BB functions you would expect but also hosts a horde of features and functions associated with other leading boards, such as vBulletin.

FlashBB also supports an extensive template management system which will be the main focus on the project at the moment.

Although work has begun on the project, there is still potential bugs that need found and more feedback needed on the project, every little helps.

What would the advantage of using flash be?

Other than keeping those pesky disabled-people-with-special-browser needs out of your forums

HI the main advantage of Flash is that it means no more page loading/reloading. You only have to load the bulletin board once each visit.
Flash is more reliable and faster if used with the right backend and can also support more demanding functions.

I can see accessibility and common-browser-practice (ie, using the browser's back button) being a big concern for some users.
