Input text login

Some help please!

I am building a simple Flash educational CD, and I want the user to enter his/her name before proceeding. I am using an Input Text box that then can call the name when needed.

The problem now is a user can simply bypass the name entry by clicking on the enter button. Can I make the text entry mandatory? Is this simple code using the variable name I assigned to the Input Text box?

I am using Flash CS3 but have my Actionscript set to 2.0. I switched versions part way through the project and was hoping to do this quick and dirty. I guess I learned my lesson!
