Save flash movie as an image

hi all

I need a help. I have a flash part of the website, which is creates a kids clothes (styles, colors, dynamic text, etc). When kids done designing, they go to Preview page which displays the finished product. So, what i need is the ability to save a snapshot or partial of the flash screen as an image in any format (i do not care which one) of that Preview page. How to do this??? How to create this script??? i am stuck... if anyone have any ideas, please, share with me.....

I found a way to do it

I had exactly the same problem today. I saw your post and afterwards found a way to do it.

Use the print screen key on your keyboard.

When you do, (or alt-PrtScr, for the selected window only) Windows memorizes the screen display on the clipboard.

Step 1: Press PRTSCR
Step 2: Open an image editing software (photoshop or other) and select PASTE.
Step 3: Crop the image to include only the image displayed by Flash.
Step 4: Save in the format of your choice.

Voilą!

P.

Wink Image quality

To get best image quality you can use this little freeware app Flash Movie Extractor Scout Lite from Bytescout (www.bytescout.com) and view flash movie using full screen mode and capture image in full screen mode. So you'll get larger image and then resize if needed

there is a way which can avoid the complex operate,....
you can use some kind of screen capture software, such as
ACA capture PRo or snagit

i am not quite familar with the snagit, but the ACA capture PRo can exprot the flash as a image form or vido form...

so,, maybe you can try ACA capture.....
by the way,, more details about the features of aca capture PRo, you can click here
