checkout page for shopping cart

I am new (really) to php programming, and want a real simple cart script to use.

I have got this cart script set up and running, but I can't get a check out page up. I basicly just want to display the cart's contents.

So, similar to the cart page, just no change quantity or remove links present.

I will then add my own, billing info forms and my own email or add to database functions for filling the order.

BUT I can't seem to display the final order. Any mods I make to the cart page to try and create a check out page, causes multiple errors or shows nothing at all!

I saw a sample checkout script someone posted, but it is incomplete, no opening or closing <?php tags, and other things missing. I can't get that script to work either.

What error messages, if any, are you receiving? Also, what is your PHP and MySQL configuration?
