Fortran, reading, writing
Hello, this is my first post. I have a problem in making a program in Fortran 90. I think anyone that knows Fortran good, this would be so easy to solve, but i'm begginer in programming., and i'm stuck for days. To begin: I have to read data from file that have three columns, to be exact, date, time and solar radiation. Here is part from file:
03/07/1999 00:00:00 3.8 03/07/1999 01:00:00 3.7 03/07/1999 02:00:00 3.6 03/07/1999 03:00:00 3.4 03/07/1999 04:00:00 3.2 03/07/1999 05:00:00 3.2 File have 61714 rows. I wrote my program like this: program zracenje real, dimension (1:100000) :: zr3 character (len=12) :: datum character (len=9) :: vreme open (2, file='1.dat') OPEN(1, FILE='C:\Users\Aleksandar\Documents\Downloads\Aco diplomski1\2001-2008.prn') read (1, '(a12,a9,f7.2)') datum, vreme, zr3 write (2, '(a12,a9,f7.2)') datum, vreme, zr3 end part of program between read and write isn't important right now, it will be developed later. When program write data into new file, that should be tottaly same as .pnr, but only in .dat format it shows: 03/07/1999 00:00:00 3.80 999 :00 3.70 999 :00 3.60 999 :00 3.40 999 :00 3.20 999 :00 3.20 999 :00 3.20 999 :00 3.50 999 :00 3.80 To be more representative, everything write good, it change date and time, but only write 3 last digits at date and 2 at time, 3rd column is OK. And one more problem writing stops at about 33000 line. So my question is: HOW TO MAKE RIGHT READ OR WRITE STATEMENT, SO THAT NEW FILE DISPLAY WHOLE DATES AND TIME AND WRITE TO THE LAST LINE? Thanx in a advance!!! Maybe i will have more question about this program, it's hard to find appropriate literature for Fortran, even in English. |
