Where can i find a short description for GD in php and what is the site for the latest version?

Question ok
Ok thanx i downloaded for windows version(zip) i extract the files. I am using phptriad where must i put the extracted files in my computer???

You will need to extract the file into the extenstions folder inside the php dir. also you will need to add the dll to the php.ini and uncomment the gd.dll file from the extenstions list.

there are lots of .c files there but how can i compile them in win32???

If you are running php on windows, gd is already included!, just need to uncomment in the php.ini file. you shouldnt need to compile anything

i know but it is 1.6 and i want to upgrade it to 2.0...
