GD Library not working?!
I tried an example to resize images to thumbnails, but I don't know if it works, ie gives me this error when I try to run this particular page.. I checked PHPINFO, I have version 4.3.3 so I think I should have GD libraries enabled, but.. I didn't find anything relating to GD in PHPINFO nor my Apache configuration file.. what could be the problem?
I'm using EasyPHP 1.7 I'm stunned |

For future reference, searching the threads for answers is a good clue...
there was an article written recently that may have some help... in the meantime, check out this thread: http://www.devarticles.com/forum/t5...5b4b4bb56f.html chances are GD isn't enabled in your apache configuration |

It's not that I haven't searched the forum, I knew that I should remove the ; from php.ini within line php_gd2.dll... If I do so and restart Apache, it throws me an error it "can't find the dll", even though the directory specification is right
c:\EasyPHP\php\extensions\... (I've tried also with C:/.....) and the dll is there (php_gd2.dll) I think it's the fault of EasyPHP and I should propably install Apache, PHP, etc separately ![]() |
