layering images in gd
hey everyone,
for my new site, i intend to have a system where the user can specify image files from his/her drive to upload to the site, and they can select whether to add a watermark of a site logo to any location on the image. i would also want to make the watermark transparant to have the image file show through it. i'm an intermediate php coder, and i've never implemented php/gd. many of the tutorials that ive run across deal with the generation of images and text. if anyone could offer some sort of tutorial link, advice, or specific code it would be greatly appreciated! |

CoolAsIce,
Have you taken a look at the GD documentation? There's a function that will do exactly what you're looking for: void gdImageCopyMerge Do a search on the documentation page and it'll take you to the details of that function. HTH!
