Question not working in my client???

Hi,

I am running two comps in my home the main is 192.168.0.1 as usual and the client is 192.168.0.2 this one goes to the internet with a proxy so when i install apache web server v:1.3.27 in the client, it doesn't work... Is there a config for this like combinations in the httpd.conf??? I post this in here(php) because i am using apache to run php with it.

Thanx all...

cemlouis,

I'm not sure why you're having this problem... I have a similar setup in my home... 3 PCs... and my notebook (which is a client on the network) has Apache installed... It works fine.

Is there something you may be missing in the configuration file? Do you receive any error messages?

I'm pretty familiar with apache as I work with it all of the time.. when you say it's not working, what exactly is it not doing? Are you able to view the webpage from http://localhost ? or http://192.168.0.2 ?

Are you getting an error message? What exactly are you trying to do? Is this for an internal or external website or both?
