Problem with Active Users Article!!!
I hope one of you guys can help me...
I have been trying to find a way tocount the number of active users on my website for sometime now. When I stumbled on your article on how to do it, it was a life saver. I floowed all the instructions, set up the database and created the pages with their codes. I even included them on the top of my website pages. When I ran the code on my localhost, it was a dream. Although I was the only person using the computer, the database still logged everything and told me I was the only user online. That as i said was on my localhost computer. It was a different story when I uploaded my pages to my server (Tripod). Funny thing is that the database does not log anything at all and on my page all it says is Number of active users and does not display the numbers. I checked my code to make sure I did not make a mistake anywhere but to no avail, the database is not logging the people that visit my site. Can anyone help and tell me wht that is the case? the website is http://www.grafikkaos.co.uk Thanks, Emmanuel Okorie |

Firstly, can you use does it successfully connect to the database? do you get any error messages.
On a guess id say its the server, and not the script. |
