user authentication

hi,

First of all i have to say that i am new in php and i am working with php,MSSql and IIS.

I would like to know how can I get user id and check it with NT authentication.

Hi,
Do you mean that you want the credentials of the user through IIS that is running your PHP script or would you like to show a dialog to get their username and password?

you mean, if the user is trying to access a restricted part of the site? sessions maybe??
