Using urlencode() or htmlspecialchars() for hidden field?
Hi,

Which one is the proper one?


PHP Code:
echo "<input name="name" type=hidden value=\"" . htmlspecialchars($data) . "\">\n"; 


OR

PHP Code:
echo "<input name="name" type=hidden value=\"" . urlencode($data) . "\">\n"; 
and then urldecode() later.

Hi, I would use URLEncode() personally, however I guess there isn't really any "proper" choice, just whichever makes you feel comfortable really
