connection error
when i try to connect to mysql i get:
Access denied for user: 'username@localhost' (Using password: NO) I am defintely using a password and the username has been added to MYSQL using GRANT and given full priveleges. another weird thing, when the connection fails, it always says its username even if its root or username2 or even nothing. I have no problem connecting from a shell with any qualified user it's network connections where i get this error. If a page being served up by apache tries to connect, no dice. Both services are on the same machine. I see MySQL listening on default port 3306 when I do a port scan. thanks for the help. |

What code are you using to connect to the DB in your script? There may be something missing...
