Question How do I tee (\t) to see every keystroke?

If anyone can help me I would appreciate it. I need to understand how to use the "t\" command to be able to look back over all of my keystrokes when using MySQL.

When do I enter it? Before I start my session? After I use a database? At the end of the session? How exactly do I type it?

When I used the \t command MySQL repsonded by saying "outfile disabled. ERROR: no query specified" I am unsure what this means or what I should have done.

I am NOT a computer person; I am just a graduate planning student who must use MySQL for 1 class, never to be used again in my life. If anyone could give me guidance, I would appreciate it!

Thanks so much, in advance.
