is ":" forbiden in varchar columns?
I was trying to insert a row in my table in a varchar column. the value of my entry was a time formated string such as 3:00AM. for some reason it was not goiing through. when I took the ":" out it worked just fine.
can anyone tell me why is that happening and how can I get around it? thanks Qutaibah |

Actually, I'm not sure why that happens to you.. I just tested it on my own mysql server, and it worked..
