A basic level question before I start on a new learning path. Can mySql and myODBC work / be used on a Windows ME PC?
Not to fussed about running asp pages on the PC, but writing them for use on the web and playing with the database? Currently been learning asp with access; but my hosting company recommending mySQL. If it is okay, which version(s) should I be downloading? Johnie |

Johnie,
I don't see why it would be a problem... The MySQL site doesn't make mention of any incompatabilities with ME. In fact, there's a guide on how to install MyODBC in ME. Check it out.

Thank you
I'd read pws wouldn't run on ME, so I thought it better to check about similar database/asp/server software before upsetting the machine big time. |
