Question String Extract

Hi Guyz,

My problem statement:

Take a string(sentence/word) as an input and display the number of (a,e,i,o,u) in that string.

Cheers!!!
Suhan

Have you attempted to solve the problem yourself?
This sounds like homework... has your prof given you any direction in what the solution involves?

If this isn't for class, I'd recommend using a stored proc.
