hi
i m new in javaing i jus wanna start my java study...... any recoment to any e-book that for a beginer????? n where can i download the compiler?????

Sorry, I don't know any good ebooks for java, but for starters, any book from your library, or online tutorial about java should do fine.
Personally, I like 'Java Software Solutions' by Lewis and Loftus. To download the java compiler just type 'java sdk' in google. Click the very first link and download 'J2SE v 1.4.2_14 SDK'. Once you have the compiler, you will probably need a good Development Enviroment. For begginers I recommend JGrasp. There is also Netbeans and Eclipse, but those are only good on a more advanced level. Last edited by daniel_g : May 12th, 2007 at 03:51 PM.
